Finsen Wound Spreader Sharp Ends
- The Finsen Wound Spreader is a self-retaining device that is used in general surgery procedures to retain wounds and allow the operator's hands to be free for other surgical manipulations. The spreader consists of a U-shaped curved assembly, with a central uniform handle and two dissimilar blades. One blade features 3 anterior prongs and the other blade features 2 anterior prongs. These prongs are placed between the wound edges before opening the device.
