- The Adson Cranial Rongeurs are highly versatile surgical instruments well-suited for use in most neurosurgical procedures to grasp delicate bony tissues. They feature wide jaws that allow strong grasping of dense and other bony tissues such as cartilage. They are also specifically designed for craniotomies that need easy access to brain tissues via cranial bone. It comes in multiple variations such as rongeur with curved or straight jaws 7 x 14 mm, Size 8 1/2". The curved or straight pattern makes them highly suitable for a range of surgical procedures. The body of the instrument is made of 100% medical-grade stainless steel. This metal keeps it lightweight and rustproof. Low maintenance is required due to having high tensile strength and resistance against environmental changes. They can be reused after sterilization.
