Description
Weitlaner Self-Retaining Retractor Right Side Blade
- The Weitlaner Self-Retaining Retractor is one of two unilateral retractors used to apply symmetrical tractions on wound edges during different surgical procedures. The featured Weitlaner retractor is a right-sided device. It has two finger rings to offer more comfortable tractions in forcible procedures. The ratchet mechanism allows the device to be self-retaining, which frees the hands of the operators for other important manipulations that pertain to the surgical technique. The two long slender handles end with descending and dissimilar blades. The right blade is solid and rectangular with a serrated outer surface, to deliver efficient tractions on the right-sided tissues. The left blade features multiple descending and sharp prongs.
