Stevenson Lacrimal Sac Self-retaining Retractor Toothed Blade
- The Stevenson Lacrimal Sac Retractor with Solid Blades and Adjustable System is a surgical instrument designed to assist ophthalmic surgeons in the dacryocystectomy procedure. The device is featured with two solid blades with serrated edges, which ensure a firm grip to the skin, and an adjustable mechanism which consist in a manually operated screw fitted with two movable arms. The surgeon carefully inserts the blades in the incision edges and rotates the screw to retract wound to the desired aperture, exposing the lacrimal sac.
