Description
Rochester-Ochsner Hemostatic Artery Forceps Straight Jaws
- The Rochester-Ochsner Forceps are hemostats that help clamp off blood vessels to avoid bleeding during procedures such as orthopedic surgery. To clamp vessels or grasp tissue, these forceps have 1x2 teeth on the tip of the serrated jaws. This "rat-tooth" can be described as one point on one end of the jaw that sits amongst two teeth on the end of the other jaw. These teeth can be functional for gripping dense tissue. Different lengths of these ring-handled forceps are available to assist in numerous cases.
