Description
The Obwegeser Ramus Retractor is used to retract the tissues anterior to the descending ramus of the mandible, like sagittal split osteotomy. It has a fenestrated handle with two dissimilar rings to offer dexterous grips. It also has a long slender shaft and a blade that is at a perpendicular angle to the axis of the handle. The blade ends with a notch to facilitate contact with the anterior ramus and is curved downwards to avoid injury to surrounding soft tissues.
