- The The McPherson Suture Tying Forcep offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to hold, stitch and retract tissues during cataract or glaucoma procedures. For this purpose, the instrument has a pair of tapered jaws with 4.0mm tying platforms for enhanced holding. In addition, the device features straight or curved jaws patterns to access the anterior chamber from multiple approaches. Moreover, the McPherson Suture Tying Forcep spring handle has an ergonomic design that prevents slippage. Also, the spring function allows for closing the jaws against each other with smooth movements.
