- The McPherson Tissue Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to guide suture threads and atraumatically hold the scleral edge of the corneal incision. For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of 0.4mm very fine, curved jaws that easily follow the corneal contour. In addition, the device includes tying platforms for grasping sutures and tie knots with exceptional precision. Also, the toothed profile is ideal to grasp the cornea and other fragile tissues with safety.
