Mayo-Blake Gall Stone Forceps Straight Jaws
- The Mayo-Blake Gall Stone Forceps is used to grasp and secure gallstones from the gall bladder during surgeries including, cholecystectomy, CBD exploration, and choledocholithotomy. It is also used to secure stones from kidneys through a nephrostomy incision, and from the pancreas after pancreatectomy. The instrument is a non-ratcheted forcep with basket-like ends that are used to trap stones and remove them. The overall length of the instrument is 21 cm and it is available with both straight and curved tips to serve different surgical needs.
