Hargis Ramus Retractor Left Cut - Individually 5 x PackThe Hargis Medial Ramus Retractor is used to mobilize tissues near the medial aspect of the mandible in procedures like sagittal split osteotomy. Some of these procedures are used to project the mentum forward in chin augmentation. There is a specific retractor for each side of the mandible and the featured retractor is for the left mandibular ramus. It has a hollow handle with parallel longitudinal ridges and a thumb rest to provide agility for the operator. The shaft of the retractor has a U-shaped cross-section to conform with the mandibular anatomy and preserve the structures that are medial to the ramus. The overall length of the retractor is 19.5 cm.
