Description
Gillies Zygoma Elevator
- The Gillies Zygoma Elevator is a tool used in zygomatic arch reduction surgeries. The elevator has a cylindrical handle that features longitudinal ridges to improve its hold. It also has a long rectangular shaft that projects with a slight angle to form a diverging slender blade. Using the temporal approach, the device can easily pass under the malar bone, and an outward force is applied to elevate the zygomatic arch and complete the reduction procedure.
