• The Weitlaner Self-Retaining Retractors are optimal tools to deliver clean-cut and straight retractions of wound edges in general surgical procedures. Each retractor has two capacious finger ring handles that allow reliable grips and superior performance. The ratchet mechanism in the handles enables the retractor to be retained in the desired position while allowing the surgeon to operate on the wound contents. The blades are long and slender, featuring a wide lateral curve to enable maximal visualization of the surgical field. Each blade ends with 2x3  sharp/ Blunt prongs that are passed between the wound edges to allow full-thickness retractions.
