Description
Wheeler Plaque Tissue Forceps
- The Wheeler Plaque Forceps are specially designed for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures that require removal of plaque such as in endarterectomy. These forceps are designed with a slightly widened and ribbed handle portion that aids in gripping and then narrows into jaws. This instrument is well suited for use in grasping and removing plaque from inside a variety of vessels because of its slim design and aligned jaws, it is available in three different lengths, 6”, 7.75”, and 9” making it suitable for a wide variety of patient sizes and surgeon preferences.
